Vulcanized collet heads provide fast changeover, high accuracy, and a wide gripping range for stock variation. Reduce your setup and changeover time when compared to jaw chucks. Operate at higher feed rates and spindle speeds with the Hardinge FlexC Collet Systems. Systems available for A2-5, A2-6, A2-8 and some flat-back CNC lathe spindles.

  • Round smooth, round serrated, hex serrated, square smooth, S-master and emergency styles
  • Sealed to minimize chips and sludge from entering the spindle

Style D FlexC Collet System

  • Thru-hole for bar work (not recommended for chucking)
  • Streamlined, low-profile for less interference
  • A2-5, A2-6 and A2-8 spindle styles
  • 42 and 65mm sizes

Style A FlexC Collet System

  • Pull-back style with removable Dead-length work stop
  • Supports bar work and chucking
  • A2-6, A2-8 and 170mm spindle styles
  • 42, 65 and 80mm Sizes

Style DL FlexC Collet System

  • Push-to-close Dead-Length style
  • Stationary collet (work stop with 42 and 65mm)
  • Ideal for accurate transfer from spindle to spindle
  • A2-5, A2-6 and A2-8 spindle style
  • 42, 65 and 80mm sizes
